 The Lady & the Unicorn - Hearing tapestry wall hanging is:

• Made in Australia from imported jacquard tapestry fabric. 
• Jacquard tapestry woven from cotton thread. The woven design creates a higher quality image that is superior to printed versions.
• The tapestry is fully lined.
• Includes a "channel" sewn into the top of the tapestry to allow for the tapestry rod to be easily inserted for hanging. 
• Includes a continuous aluminium weight stabilization bar sewn into the bottom of the tapestry (that helps minimize distortion of the tapestry when hung).

 The Lady & the Unicorn - Hearing (L'ouïe)  tapestry depicts the sense of hearing and is adapted from one of the original  six tapestries that were woven mid-late 15th Century in Brussels.  The tapestry depicts the Lady playing a portable organ while her maidservant works the bellows. The original series of the Lady & Unicorn tapestries hang in a purpose built room in the Cluny Museum in Paris.

*Please note: For international customers - due to dimension restrictions by Australia Post, as this tapestry is over 105cm (41"wide), the weight bar will be in two parts.

Care & Cleaning: This wall hanging is made with the highest quality of materials and as the design is jacquard woven (not printed), it is completely dry-cleanable. The tapestry can be ironed, steam-cleaned, spot-cleaned and "scotch-guarded" if required.
